Objectives & Methods

We aim to identify, describe, appraise and interpret research on the processes and procedures employed to maximise the validity, utility and effectiveness of our programmes. We focus on all aspects and behaviours related to sustainable development, empowering women, refugees and displacement, education and training, working for peace, and all activities relevant to our goals and objectives.

Specifically, we undertake phased programmes of research to study key areas that are potentially applicable to populations in our regions of interest. These groups represent groupings mainly in the Arab World and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

To identify and summarise information on populations at large.

To assess the degree of population considerations.

To identify cost-effectiveness, feasibility, acceptability and equity of these adapted approaches.

To understand the rationale for and processes and experiences of adapting studies of populations and to summarise lessons learned.
